it's finally over!!

Welp,

What a week.

I'm not entirely sure if I really did screw up my EFE extremely badly, or just .. I don't know if I'm being too hard on myself, lol.
But I do hope I pass. I mean, I'm still learning, and have got lots more of learning to do.

I really appreciate the fact that we have to do farm placements though. It just really confirmed my decision of wanting to work in the city? Like, couple of classmates grew up in farms so they're actually more comfortable in the environment. I do adapt but it isn't as comfortable as working in a clinic like I used to do? So yeah, I'm just going to be a typical Singaporean girl -- after getting her DVM just go back home and find a job.

What's so bad about Singapore, right? Not like there are NO exotics or wildlife (considering there are people who secretly keep these animals + the rescues), I think life's not going to be that bad as I expect it to be.

Besides, I was contemplating between being a wildlife vet (only) and a small animal vet, but now I know I'll probably be a jack of all trades but based in the city. Yup. City for life, lol.

Also was seriously, seriously considering doing a residency in VECC (Emergency & Critical Care), but after reading up tens of pages of requirements I decided ... No. Too much time invested into something that Singapore wouldn't actually allow me to prosper in anyway.
Anyway, I could always do a residency after working a couple of years, so there's that. I'm just going to be a 'GP' for now. That's my goal, to pass vet school. I don't even care about grades anymore, that's how draining it is for me.

Being alone in Geraldton (thank goodness for Stu though? LOL! I would have gone mad without having someone to talk to) was really just urgh I hate being independent and being an adult and everything like I already feel broke and it's not even my money I'm using.

I'm just so glad this week is over and it ended on a good note. Back to school soon. But yeah, the drive back to Perth is going to be hella tiring but I'm looking forward to it.

Home sweet home!

xx

ps some pix from EFE (most of them are on my private IG and FB so ya there are just the boring ones)
